Tuesday's top deals: a Kano computer kit, a 400GB microSD card, and more!

On a daily basis there is no shortage of great deals to be had, but sometimes hunting them down can be a bit time consuming. Don’t let that drag you down, though. We’ve rounded up some of our absolute favorites from today that you simply can’t miss out on.

Learn Something New

Kano Computer Kit Touch

This is an all-new low price for a device that’s only a few months old and was selling around $280 on its release. Before today, the lowest we’d seen it go was $200.

We shared news about this tablet back in September before it became a reality and were excited about it back then. It’s essentially a do-it-yourself touchscreen computer that Kano will teach you how to build, and once you’re done Kano will teach you how to code. Kano’s kits are generally meant for children, although just about anyone would learn something new from them.

That’s not the only deal we’re excited about today, either:

Time to Upgrade

WD Blue 500GB solid state drive

The SSD normally sells for around $80 and has never gone as low as today’s deal. However, it won’t last long. The 1TB version is also on sale for $125.99. That’s a drop from around $136 and the lowest we’ve seen. If you prefer M.2 over SATA, the WD Blue M.2 is exactly the same in every other respect going for the same price.

Every Ounce of Storage

SanDisk Extreme 400GB microSD card

The SanDisk Extreme 400GB is a new card that had sold for around $150 since November but before that was selling as high as $250. Today’s price is a new all-time low. If you don’t need the outright insane performance of the SanDisk Extreme, you could also go for the SanDisk Ultra 400GB card. It’s not quite as powerful but it’s also down to just under $80 right now.

Over-the-Air

AmazonBasics 35-mile indoor TV antenna

If you live anywhere near an urban center and have broadcast towers near you, the 35-mile range should be enough. Whatever signals your antenna can reach, that’s what you’ll get to watch for no more than the price you’re paying today. It can pick up HD channels like ABC, NBC, PBS, Fox, and more, giving you the opportunity to watch your favorite networks in 1080p.

The S305 is a 2017 model. However, it’s $100 less expensive than 2018’s 43-inch model. And thanks to the included Roku TV, it has smart features that continue to be updated today. Beyond that, the S305 is a fine budget set with decent image quality and 1080p resolutions.
